The Edmonton Disc Golf Association (EDGA) is a volunteer-based organization that is dedicated to promoting and creating opportunities & activities for the public to discover and enjoy the sport of disc golf in Edmonton and it’s surrounding communities.

Brand new to the EDGA council, Tim has been a passionate and dedicated club member and disc golfer for the past 4 years.

Tim is responsible for presiding over the council, building partnerships with local businesses, and growing the club as far as it can go while disc golf is exploding globally.

Kalin (fuby) Fubaroo is a math wiz with many years of disc golf experience under his belt. His special talent for numbers will indubitably improve this organization.

Vicky comes to EDGA from the world of Ultimate (Frisbee). After 2 years of mostly recreational play, she decided to bring her passion for organizing events to the world of disc golf.

Vicky will be responsible for the administrative aspects of running EDGA leagues and programs. She is also part of the team organizing Wednesday Women’s League.

Wally started playing in 2002 and began volunteering for EDGA in 2005, he has been running the River City Cup and other events since 2007 as well as president of EDGA for a few of those years, disc golf still his passion and his world.

Wally will be responsible for course development and working with the City of Edmonton to get new courses in the city.

Tim has been playing disc golf almost continuously for the last 7 or so years, the last 6 as a member of EDGA. His love for the sport and this community has expanded his participation in EDGA to the point where he now runs putting league each winter, and the Thursday Rundle League each spring and summer. He is one of the few folks around who regularly can shoot his age or better.

Both a player and Board Member since 2013 and previous President and Vice President of EDGA, James’ passion lies in new course development (The Hills, Leduc, Morinville and in-part Beaumont) as well as creating new programming for EDGA members like Alberta’s first Indoor Putting League.

James runs the ‘Anytime Tuesday League’ at The Hills and is looking forward to a safe and fun 2021 season.

Travis Bouchard

Travis was introduced to the game of disc golf in the fall of 2019 and fell head over heels in love. While he may still be figuring out the secrets of how to lower his score, his passion for the game and the desire to grow the sport has brought him to the EDGA Board.

Travis will be responsible for the administration of EDGA.ca and will be working on a redesign for the site that will launch in the 2021 season.
