Schedule A – Course Rules
The Niska Paskwahk (Goose Meadow) course will be open 7 days a week between sunrise to sunset unless otherwise communicated to the EDGA by the AHE Disc Golf Contact person. (ex. special events on site) – to be communicated at least 7 days in advance where able. EDGA members will need to carry their EDGA bag tag to identify they have completed the AHE Waiver. If Bag Tags are lost, follow the established EDGA process for replacement.
Parking Locations
Road 1: Overflow gravel parking lot (Northeast)
Road 3: Overflow gravel parking lot (Southwest)
Bathroom Locations
1. 3 Building – Helen Hunley Pavilion: Front (west) entrance at Security Station # 1
2. Sports Field Bathrooms
3. 9 Building Main Entrance (bus stop)
Alberta Hospital Edmonton Site & Disc Golf Course Rules
- Who can use the AHE Site Disc Golf Course
- Members in good standing with EDGA with a signed AHS Disc Golf Waiver
- EDGA members to carry their current bag tag with them
- Minors to be accompanied by an adult
- AHE Patients & their Families
- AHE Staff, Physicians and Volunteers
- Members in good standing with EDGA with a signed AHS Disc Golf Waiver
- All Players must uphold AHS Code of Conduct & AHS Smoke Free Environments while on site
- AHS sites are also free of alcohol and other substances.
- EDGA Member must utilize assigned parking in gravel lots
- EDGA Members must remain in designated areas (ie. Designated parking lots, bathrooms and disc golf course identified on AHS Facility and Disc Golf Course Map)
- AHE is a health care facility. No taking pictures that involve other individuals (patients or staff)
- EDGA Members must uphold the confidentiality of patients and staff on site. Failure to maintain confidentiality will result in immediate termination of the AHS/EDGA License Agreement
- AHE Disc Golf Waiver to be completed annually
- EDGA members shall not bring guests who are not members of EDGA to play on the AHE Disc Golf course.
- Be mindful of safety at any time. If there is an identified safety concern please contact Protective Services for urgent concerns and Recreation Facilities for non-urgent matters.
- Must wear appropriate footwear and clothing mindful of being at a health care facility (ie. No profanity etc.)
- Play in a safe and courteous manner
- Remain quiet and avoid unnecessary movements while others are throwing
- Stand behind the player who is throwing until throw is complete
- Remove disc from the basket after completing hole
- Help new players learn the rules
- Allow faster groups to play through when possible
- Pick up trash and put in proper receptacles
- Do not alter the course (trees, bushes, etc) in any way
- Only service animals registered with AHS are allowed on-site
